| "Phyllis truly shows her talent as a singer/songwriter on this CD. She has that unique talent of being able to combine musicianship with excellent lyric composition. At first listening, one can hear the subtle influence of a Sarah Mclachlan or a John mayer. Her vocal arrangements are top notch. Her harmonies are pristine. Overall, a very satisfying musical endeavor." | |||

Visit Garageband.com for a complete list of awards and reviews Every Little Bit of Something: A professionally done, pleasantly sounding song- The first thing I've noticed was an excellent use of pan and reverb - just the right proportion of everything in the mix. The guitar work is outstanding. The drums are very subtle and very well done. Very sweet, professional vocals. Fabulous, believable emotions in the lady's voice. Solid interaction between the vocals and the melody. The singer is feeling the groove. The lyrics are top notch. A very moving, smoothly flowing story! Beautiful integration of verses and the hook. Overall, one of the best songs I've ever heard on Garageband. Bravo! for
a sec.- for a sec there i thought it was the beatles but then
i kept on listening to it more and the vocalist sounds better than the
beatles. good job. nice voice girl ;-) sounds really good. nice melody
and nice hook. Talk to Me: Groove is good!- Super sounding mix of a killer female vocalist and a great band. Very tight and fun. This is the type of feel good song that gets your head a bobin' and the hands a clappin'. all I can say is I want more... I LIKE IT! Nice track!- I dig your voice. I like the phrasing. I like the backing track--nice bass line. Good production. Too many artists put the vocals too far behind the music. I like the acoustic guitar counterpose feel against the pop back track. Groove me, and sexy- This song is so appealing. The parts that make it so appealing are the clean, smooth acoustic, the moving bass, tight drums and the sweet voice. Modern, yet fun, this is a song that makes me feel I need... I understand your lyrics. If only something would go my way, too. So tired of working so damn hard, yet being told the sidelines are for me... hmmm..well... Very good tune, I hope you guys make it.. me too! Well Im heading off..cya.. bye Desiree: Move over Tori Amos!!!- You are full of emotions girl! I like the timbre of your voice. I like the progression of the song. I like the dynamism of the piano. I like this!!! And to think I don't listen to this kind of music. by the way, i dig your lyrics too! Sweet
and mellow- Oh..that's a sweet voice! Voulnerable and mellow..this
was nice..! Very pretty- This song is pretty. The vocalist has a very good voice, and she sings well. The piano part and the vocal melody fit together very well. "Your darkest moment is your finest hour" is an awesome line. I can't say that I understand every flower reference, but I still like the song. Good- Theres nothing wrong with this song what so ever. You deserve to be on the top 40 good luck!!! |
